Description
The RG2 is a versatile robot arm gripper with a 2 kg payload capacity and an integrated Quick Changer, featuring a stroke length of up to 110 mm. This collaborative gripper is designed for rapid deployment, easy customization, and straightforward programming. With advanced software features available through our One System Solution, the RG2 significantly reduces engineering and manufacturing times. Its customizable fingertips offer exceptional gripping flexibility, allowing users to efficiently handle various components in the production process, thereby optimizing robot usage. Compatible with our Dual Quick Changer and other grippers, the RG2 enhances robotic efficiency. It is also TÜV certified and equipped with standard safety shields for added protection.
The RG2’s Advantages and Features
The RG2 gripper can be paired with the Dual Quick Changer module, which functions similarly to the standard Quick Changer. However, the Dual Quick Changer is specifically designed to accommodate two end-of-arm tooling (EoAT) grippers simultaneously, enabling configurations such as using both the RG2 and RG6 grippers together. This innovative robot end-of-arm tooling solution maximizes robot utilization by allowing simultaneous handling of multiple workpieces, significantly reducing production time. With the Dual Quick Changer, you can expect to see an approximate 50% increase in production efficiency.
LARGE STROKE
The RG2 gripper automatically identifies the stroke at the start of the program without requiring any initialization. It features an adjustable maximum gripping stroke of 110 mm.
GRIP INDICATIONS
Automatic features such as “lost grip detection,” “grip detected,” “continuous grip,” and “measure width” eliminate the need for manual programming, streamlining the setup process for the RG2 gripper.
