Role Requirements

• Necessary software languages: C / C++,  Linux
• Preferred software languages: Python, HTML5, Java Script, MySQL
• Can create technical plans with computer-assisted engineering and design software, e.g. Altium
• The ability to work with (script/assemble/test) embedded systems
• PCB board design, repair, assembly – coordination of PCB board manufacturing
• The ability to solder and desolder SMD components
• The ability to design and develop compliant electronic products in line with customer requirements

This full time role is for an experienced, qualified electrician who wants to extend their skill sets into the world of robotics and automation. Focus is on, but not limited to, the manufacturing and farming sectors.

Role Requirements

• Engineering trade qualification in appropriate area e.g., electrical. Hold appropriate licenses.
• Five to ten years experience in your trade.
• Experience working with robots (e.g. KUKA, ABB, UR) is strongly considered.
