Did you know OMRON is opening the doors for their upcoming Tech Open Day Brisbane? Manufacturers, engineers, and automation professionals are meeting up for a hands-on look at the technologies shaping the next generation of Australian manufacturing.
The event will be held on Thursday, 22 October 2026 at the OMRON Brisbane Showroom in Murarrie, with morning and afternoon sessions available.

Rather than simply hearing about emerging manufacturing technologies, attendees will have the opportunity to see practical demonstrations and speak directly with OMRON automation engineers. The Open Day will showcase developments across:
- Robotics and flexible automation
- Connected factories, IIoT and edge computing
- AI-integrated machine vision and traceability
- Industry 4.0 automation
- Autonomous mobile robotics
- Factory monitoring and data solutions
Live demonstrations will include OMRON’s Industry 4.0 Automation Cell, an AMR Mobile Manipulator (MoMa), as well as connected factory and monitoring solutions.
The event will also explore how manufacturers can de-risk automation projects through proof-of-concept development and solution validation, as well as approaches to machine modernisation, safety, training, and engineering support.
Trotec Laser, a specialist in industrial laser marking technology, will also showcase their latest tech.
