Industrial Robotics is a growing engineering and systems integration business delivering real-world Industry 4.0 solutions across advanced manufacturing, mining, and construction sectors. We work closely with leading global technology partners such as Universal Robots, ABB, KUKA, and OMRON.

This is a sales-focused, solutions-driven role suited to someone who enjoys working with customers, engineers, and technology partners to deliver practical automation outcomes.

Manage the full sales lifecycle, from opportunity identification through to contract closure. Work closely with engineering and project delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead generation within targeted industry verticals
  • Managing sales pipeline, opportunities, and contacts in CRM
  • Building and maintaining strong supplier partner relationships, including regular sales reviews, forecasting, and planning meetings
  • Consulting with customers to understand needs and preparing tailored quotations
  • Prospecting new customers and engaging decision-makers within target organisations
  • Managing and growing existing partner relationships to maximise market penetration and order flow
  • Preparing and delivering sales presentations and proposals at appropriate decision-maker levels
  • Clearly articulating and validating customer value propositions
  • Maintaining awareness of market trends, competitors, and channel strategies
  • Coordinating closely with internal teams including engineering, project delivery, and accounts

About You

You are comfortable working in a technical sales environment. You bring a balance of commercial acumen and technical understanding.

You must have a solid foundation in engineering fundamentals to effectively understand and communicate technical concepts, with strong:

  • Customer-focused sales and relationship management skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Negotiation and closing capability
  • Organisation and time-management skills
  • Understanding of pricing principles and technical concepts
  • Experience in financial budgeting, forecasting, and pipeline management
  • General computer proficiency and CRM experience
  • Exposure to project management tools
  • The right to work in Australia

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related discipline (MBA desirable)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical sales, project development, or solution-based selling
  • Industrial automation experience is preferred for the technical sales background
